Location of The Chapman Academy

When Ray was looking for a location for his shooting school he picked Columbia, Missouri because of its variety of lodging, ease of access, and central national location. It's within two hours drive of two major international airports, St. Louis and Kansas City, by Interstate 70. A list of area hotels and a map to the range are provided with your registration confirmation.
The ranges, now owned by the Green Valley Rifle and Pistol Club of Columbia, are 38 acres of rolling hills and woods. They are a mere fifteen minutes drive from Columbia into the Missouri countryside. The facility includes two moving target ranges, two 50 yard ranges, and specialized ranges for falling plates, barricade shooting, and live fire tactical training. These ranges not only meet the training requirements of the Chapman Academy programs but are also used for the annual Bianchi Cup, a World Championship event. There are classroom facilities although little time is spent there. The Academy is unable to provide lunches, however there is a fine selection of restaurants within easy access. We do have soda machines, refrigerators, and a microwave available for students.
